The Storyteller. One of the Beings of Time & Space, guarding the present, telling the stories of this dimension, in a constant battle against the grim reaper who interferences with their storylines, forcing them to rewrite over and over again. The Storyteller is forbidden to meet the creatures whose story they tell.

The Storyteller is choosen by Atropos, within the council of entities. There is no way someone can decline Atropos’ decision. The current Storyteller is a younger Being than the former one, who lost their imagination along the way and had to be replaced to keep up with the weirdness of the current reaper.

The other side about being a Storyteller is that you basically loose your former life, your former rang and are forced to give up your personality, as your only duty is to care about the Storyline - about others than themselfes. But this one here is pretty good at finding loop holes ... and started to self insert themselves into storylines, to interact with the creatures along the way. The Grim Reaper is amused as he found out and they are constantly gambling within the Storylines; which leaves Atropos even way more tired than before as he is the one who has to fix up the mess these two make every time.

Atropos is the guardian of fate, he chooses who is dutied of being part of the world entities. He has choosen Sei as Storyteller and also Pierre as current Reaper, but regretted is shortly afterwards. He is constantly tired of Pierre's behaviour and games, he feels like a babysitter for him. His loyal familiar is a pipe fox named Udon.

Delilah is a 16 years old girl who finds a circus ticket in an old Library book. Curious as she is she wants to find out if there is really a Circus in town since she hasn't seen any promotional posters. But as she enters the circus town she is forces to join the show by a weird masked man. She tries to run away but she is not allowed to leave this otherwordly Circus since she hasn't paid for her ticket. She gets partnered up with a Clown named Samuel who seems to be in a lot of trouble himself. But as Delilah doesn't see any fault in her own behaviour she is faced with a lot of trouble involving her own decisions. She learns that the Circus doesn't only seem otherworldy but is, in fact, a part of the Otherworld and that almost all performers and artists are magical beings or humans that turned into some after entering. She tries to learn as much as she can but Samuel is a lonely wolf who denies all kind of help. Delilah takes part of the show as a Pierrot, her main talent is her ability to react fast to changes, otherwhise she is not very talented regarding basic circus abilities, but she tries. According to this she acts in improvised stage Acts.

Samuel is a Clown in the Otherworld Circus, he is currently suspended from working as a Clown since he got badly injured some time ago. His duty right now is to clean the area before the main tent. He lives in an old caravan in end of tent city, far off from the main tent. His clothes are worn out and patched up, he is rather introverted and tries to seem invisible. He is the step child of Ringmaster Katheryne, Vice-Ringmaster Saramir is his Foster Father as she doesn't want to be bothered by taking care of him. Samuel doesn't know his real parents as he was a toddler as Katheryne brought him to the circus. He was raised by a Lady named Elana who teached him in everything he could need later. Samuel is very talented on the thight rope, can act, play instruments, juggle and even sing. As Delilah shows up she gets partnered up with him, but he knows Katheryne will just let him perform again now that he has a partner and he tries not to involve Delilah in his perfomance. Which leaves the girl annoyed. For Samuel a performance means he will get totured as his step mother enjoys it and the Beings paying to see him are the richest ones around. Samuel is a rare species since his father was a human and his mother was a fairy, that's why his body can endure injuries way longer than a normal human body ever could.

Samuel is my oldest character, he made it through several changes, but I still love him dearly. He has two alternative universe versions: Samu, in his universe almost everything is the same but his step mother actually cares for him and Sam, in his universe Samuel and Vincent are the same person and there are a lot of differences from the main storyline. Both characters/their dolls are listed in additional doll profiles to give them space for their own character descriptions.

Pierre's favorite pet. In all regards of being just a mere pet that can talk. Fanny is a very loyal pet Fox who is able to walk on two legs and talk in human language. He is somewhat of Pierre's scribbler, he takes notes and brings letters with Pierre's annoucement to to other members of the Circus Family or Sideshow Family. He loves candy, cakes and cakes, he is munching on some most of the time.

Katheryne is the Ringmaster of the Otherworld Circus, well, at least she thinks she is. She is a puppet used by the real Ringmaster. She once was married to a man who cheated on her and brought his child into the marriage, she killed him and took the child into her traveling carnival. The carnival later evolved into a Circus. The child was Samuel. She hates him and sees him as living memorial of her husband's betrayal, therefore she enjoys to torture Samuel, no matter if it's by injuring him or breaking his mind more and more, it's her way to take revenge on her husband. She is lost in this circle of hate. She has a deal with Pierre and several other magical Beings to keep herself in power.

Saramir is the current Vice-Ringmaster of the Otherworld Circus, he is a strict but fair person. His other duty is being Samuel's foster dad. He is quite soft on the boy since he knows he is already being through enough. Saramir tries to help Samuel in any way possible, like giving him a magic key that lockes up his Caravan without anyone being able to spy into it. Or bringing him some fresh food from time to time. When times are hard he let him sleep in his, quite luxious, tent, even if it results in getting scolded or punished himself. Or he refills Samuel's make up pods since that stuff is too expensive for Samuel himself to buy it, but he needs it. To survive himself he can't help Samuel much, but he does somehow. He has a younger brother named Oisín who is a Clown in the Circus. They are the only ones out of their family of goblins who survives an attack of humans. Saramir can change forms, his true form is a tiny rather ugly goblin, he has to appear in a more handsome humanesque form since Katheryne demands it. Saramir is not found of his brother being in the Circus since he started to work there to help his Brother studying the arts of nature magic, but Saramir doesn't know how much his little Brother has changed over the years.

Oisín is Saramir's younger Brother and he shows up as friendly Clown who wants to help Delilah. But Samuel doesn't trust him at all, it seems like he knows what Oisín is truly up to. Oisín is the real Ringmaster in disguise, he has a deal with Pierre and holds all the threads regarding everything happening in the Circus. He hides for a majority of time and let his puppet Katheryne actout everything for him. As Delilah is able to flee after Samuel gives his life to end the current magical bond Oisín is furious. He finally sells all of his soul to Pierre and begin to build up a new, even worse, Circus to collect all the rotten Souls for Pierre and gets his revenge in the end. Oisín hates humans since his family was almost completely killed by them, he tries to play the innocent little Brother role for Saramir.

Elana was Samuel's foster mother as he came into the traveling Carnival, it's said she was also the former Vice-Ringmaster. Elana was a friendly, welcoming and helpful person. She was popular with the whole crew. She teached Samuel to sing, playing several instruments and walking on the tight rope, which was her speciality. Her true love was the witch Loreley, but nobody knew that they were in a relationship. Elana vanished one day and since then life went downwards for Samuel.

Vincent is the youngest child of the Ringmaster Alfred del Gelle, he was born into an old Circus Family. Alfread wants Vincent to be the Ringmaster succeeding him, his oldest son doesn't want to be the Ringmaster. But Vincent isn't very healthy, he gets ill pretty often and since he can't travel with his family much he has to suffer under his mental health too. He mostly stays in their winter quarters with his teacher Seira. His biggest dream is to perform during the shows and being an artist in the spotlight. His father disagrees hardly with his son's dreams.

Vincent is the normal World counterpart to Samuel, both are an own Being but when something bad happens to one of them the other part will suffer. As Samuel dies in the Otherworld the balance tilts and results in bad luck for Vincent: as he just gained enough trust in himself to show his father what he practized he slips off a ladder and injures his head... what causes him a memory loss. He later meets Delilah who thinks she had found Samuel in the real world and forces a shock therapy on him, hoping he would remember their time together... but not without causing a desaster.

This was my very first Ball Jointed Doll, he is now splitten up in two more dolls that I use more for photos but he is still very dear to me.

Vincent's pet Corgi, he is a loyal friend and always on his side. Captain loves to play and enjoys every trip to a nearby lake or forest. His favorite spot to sleep is Vincent's bed. Jamie was a performer in the Sideshow, his Glasgow Smile made him too creepy to be a normal performer for the rather sensitive visitors. But as Jamie is also a teacher for manners and education he takes Seira's part as Vincent's hometeacher after she died. But as Jamie is only three years older than Vincent they went from a teacher-pupil-relationship into a friendship rather fast. Since then Jamie helps Vincent to attend meetings, getting his health in shape and be the Ringmaster Alfred del Gelle always wanted. But somehow... there is more than friendship growing between these two.

Noah and his twin Sister Lydia were born from flower seeds, they are Beings from the Otherworld. Nobody really knows why they found their way into the normal world. Different from Lydia he lives with Delilah and is not happy about it, he tries to run away several times. In the end he runs away to a different Circus since he through it was the Del Gelle Family Circus. He is picked up by Oisín who corrupts him into a Creature of Evil, named Ephraim, to help him planning his revenge on Delilah and Vincent, since Vincent is the normal World Counterpart of Samuel.

Samuel and Samu are identical characters until a certain turnpoint in their life. Samu, different from Samuel, is lovingly raised by Katheryne since she can't put her wrath on an innocent child and she decided to make him her loyal henchmen instead. He is quite popular within the Circus Crew and with the years his mother grows jealous of him since everyone adores him and would do everything for him. Since then a black mark ruins his handsome face and Samu has turned into a cold, emotionless henchmen who executes every command, no matter how inhuman it might be. There are rumors that he is secretly planning on taking over the Circus...

Sam is a full alternative character based on Samuel and Vincent. As in his world the Normal World and Otherworld are the same World there are no different Versions of a Being.

Sam is a college Student but his biggest dream is to join a Circus. As his father is getting married to a Ringmaster he is absolutely thrilled by the fact to join a Circus family. He decides to move into the tent city and finally live his dream. His father is scared that he will hurt himself and tries to get him back to college instead. He partners him up with Vadym, an eccentric Dragon in humanesque Form, hoping Vadym would pressure him to leave the circus since nobody could ever stand being with Vadym longer than a day. But Vadym falls head over toe for Sam and wants him to stay at the circus.

Sam is an overall happy person, he lost his mother as he was a child what caused him to be selective mute for some years, he forgot to speak his mother's native language over this span of years as they moved to his father's home country instead. He is overall not the strongest, prettiest or smartest man around, but he loves his choosen role as a Clown and he loves living in a Circus, the applause and the excitement in the manege.

Vadym is a Dragon that took human form, only choosen human can see his horns and wings. He works on the trapezoid and as fire breather, what a dragon naturally can do. He loves everything that is shiny, glittery, golden oder shimmering in any way and hoards it. He usually works as solo artist since he has high standards on a partner during performances. As the new Vice-Ringmaster partners him up with Sam he is not amused at first, but as he meet the young man he instantly falls in love with him. He calls him his "Precious" and is overly protective regarding Sam. Be nice to Sam or otherwhise you will feel Vadym's wrath.

Peppi is Clown through and through, he learned being a clown in a circus school specializing into clownery. He likes to play harmless pranks, but only on friends or people he knows, he is very friendly when it comes to customers. He's friends with Erwin and always tells him to smile more, he thinks Erwin is always too sad when he takes a role of a Clown. Peppi's biggest talent is juggling, he poses a lot while juggling, telling other Jugglers to leave the place for him and his talent.

Erwin is a professional clown impersonator, he chooses from different clowns that are popular in media, he currently performs as Joker from the 2019s movie. But deep inside it is his big dream to create an own clown persona, but he fears that an own persona wouldn’t be liked by his audience. He somehow always ends up playing sad clowns instead of happy clowns, his friend Peppi always bullies him because of that fact.

Tamani is an elephant girl and a performer in the circus, her speciality are acrobatics and acting. Her best friend is Josephine, they meet often after the show and Josephine brings new candy creations with her for Tamani to taste them. Tamani helps Josephine to choose the best candy variants to sell.

Until his ninth Birthday Alexys lives with his parents, his biggest wish is to be a singer and perform on big stages, giving concerts and earning applause from thousands of people. He suffers from a rare genetic defect that his his hair and eyes an unnatural color, his Parents try to discover the roots of this defect and are missing since they started their journey. As he moves in with the Lokertons he changes his name to Stanley and is mostly called Stan. The Lokertons highly dislike him, but keep on giving him a play to stay since "the poor thing lost his parents". Stan runs away as he turns 16 and joins a Circus for a while, but the Circus Life doesn't match his image of being a musician.

He spirals downwards into being an alcohol and drug addict, singing for small money in dilapidated bars, his voice became rough from smoking too much. One day the son of the Lokertons, Edward, pops up out of nowhere and asks Stan to take his place in his rather popular band. Stan isn't sure if he should take the offer or not, and then there are Edward's band mates who aren't happy about Edward's decision either.
